Fannie Mae has announced a new initiative, Collateral Underwriter, a proprietary automated appraisal risk assessment to help lenders identify eligibility issues. Rest assured, Mercury Network clients are already prepared to accept the new messages. For a streamlined experience, the Collateral Underwriter messages will appear alongside all other GSE messages in your direct connection to UCDP, as shown in the screenshot below.
