In the final update of 2017, we updated the way email notifications are handled for bids and the Make a payment feature. We also made sure vendors always show a location so you can use proximity-based assignment. Read on for the highlights or see the release notes here.
Updated notification handling
When residential bidding was released, the settings didn't allow bid notifications to be sent to addresses listed in the Additional E-mail Addresses field in your user profile. Based on what we heard from you, going forward, those email addresses will receive all bid-related notifications.
In addition, if you're using the Make a payment feature, in the notification sent to the borrower, we'll use your friendly name (if you've set one up) instead of your email address. This is based on your requests to keep borrower’s questions from reaching the admin's inbox.
Improved proximity-based assignment
You may have noticed some cases where an appraiser's proximity to the subject property was blank. This has been fixed so assignment based on proximity is more reliable.
Card types now display correctly
Recently, for VMP XSite users, credit card types weren't displayed in Business Management. This has been fixed so you will again see the card logo in the Client Payments window and the Credit Card information section.
We look forward to many exciting developments coming in 2018. Thanks for your continued business this year, and Happy Holidays!
