In this release, there’s a new way to control the notifications that are sent to an order’s additional recipients. We’ve also improved Mercury Network’s performance to keep the platform fast and efficient during the high volumes we’re all working with in the current market. There are a few other tweaks and interface changes in this update, so read on for the highlights and check the release notes for complete details.
More control over notifications to additional recipients
You asked for greater control over the email notifications sent to email addresses entered in the order’s Additional recipients field. To that end, you can now create a Mercury Network user (or designate an existing user) whose Managed orders settings (in their profile) will determine which Mercury Network notifications are sent to additional recipients. This only applies to Mercury Network notifications, and doesn’t include any notifications that may be sent if the client’s actions on the XSite trigger a notification.
If you'd like to configure this for your account, please contact your Account Manager or call Client Relations at 1-800-900-4954.
Performance improvements
As origination volumes continue to set records, we have and will continue to adapt so your workflow in the platform stays fast and efficient. Here are some of the upgrades to our infrastructure to accommodate the current historically high volumes:
Streamlined SQL queries to speed up database communications
Upgraded our SQL servers
Increased physical memory available to the platform’s servers
Will double the platform’s available processing cores this coming weekend (8/8/20)
We constantly monitor Mercury Network’s performance in order to scale our operations and infrastructure to meet and exceed demands. In addition, we take your feedback into account, so we appreciate you communicating with us about ways we can help you stay ahead of your increasing origination volumes.
Interface changes for better clarity
If you’re using a VMP XSite, you know that changes to a due date or a fee amount could apply to either the vendor or the client. To make it more clear which of those is affected, we’ve changed the text in the Set status drop-down menu. The item that previously read Change due date now says Change vendor due, and Change fee has been changed to Change vendor fee. You’ll still be able to sync the new due date or fee to your client, just like you did before. We hope this helps any user better understand the action they’re taking.
Small change to save big time
We understand that every second counts in your workflow, so this seemingly minor change can shave several seconds off each order. When you manually send anything via SureReceipts to the client, their email address will now be automatically populated as long as it’s available in the XSite order. This saves the time needed to open the XSite order to copy/paste that information.
