Our VMP XSite customers will see several major updates with our December feature release. VMP XSites are our public-facing websites that lenders and AMCs use to receive appraisal orders. Here's a list of the biggest changes, and click here to see the full release notes.
Updated site names: VMP XSites will be updated to use VMPXSites.com rather than AppraiserXSites.com. If you’ve bookmarked your XSite’s admin page using the old site name containing “AppraiserXSites.com”, make sure you update your bookmarks after the update is released.
Streamlined content and tools: Since VMP XSites were born from our Appraiser XSites product, there were several legacy content pages and tools included that our VMP XSite customers didn’t need. To prevent confusion, we’ve eliminated those appraiser-centric pages and tools in this update. You'll notice a simplified dashboard with only the tools you use. Here's the new My Office dashboard:
Updated contacts interface: We’ve made changes to the design of contacts to make it easier and faster for you to manage your contacts. You’ll notice a streamlined “look and feel” for the contacts tools.
New website designs: You’ll have additional options for the professional design of your VMP XSite with several new theme templates.
Business management launches in a new window: As a result of our continued efforts to improve the browser compatibility for your VMP XSite, you now have a new way to access your admin tools. After the update is released, if you’re inside a Mercury Network order and click the VMP XSite link, your Business Management dashboard will open in a new window. To access the other admin tools in the VMP XSite, log in to the VMP XSite rather than using the link inside the Mercury Network order.
Easier payment changes: With the next update, you can change the payment method for an order, even if the original credit card has already been charged.
New products added: The update includes two new products that were requested by customers like you, the “Exterior Only Multi-Family Appraisal” and the “Mobile Home Appraisal”.
You’re ready for the coming UCDP changes: After the update, Mercury Network’s direct connection to UCDP will be ready to handle the recently announced changes from Fannie Mae. Several Fannie Mae messages in UCDP are being upgraded from warnings to overridable hard stops. In addition, Mercury Network will seamlessly handle situations when the GSEs return different results.
