Resend payment request to the borrower and other new features in this release

This update introduces an easy way to resend the email to the borrower requesting a credit card payment for their appraisal. There are also resolutions to workflow issues in this release, and you can see complete details in the release notes as well as highlights below.

Easily resend the Make a Payment email

If your Mercury Network account is configured to automatically request a credit card payment from the borrower for their appraisal, this feature will come in handy. In cases when you need to re-send the Make a Payment email to the borrower, you can now quickly do so using a link you'll see in the audit trail. Plus, if the original email wasn't sent because the borrower's email address was missing from the order, you'll be prompted for their email address and it will be saved to the order. Previously, re-sending that email required a manual process that was time-consuming, so this upgrade is designed to save you time.

The payment-request email is just one portion of the overall payment-automation workflow, and we're excited about the upcoming release of features that will extend these capabilities. Soon, you'll be able to automatically pay appraisers via direct deposit for orders that are marked Complete. Click here to read more about these upcoming features.

Vendors' Completed folder will show most recent orders first

For vendors who have used Mercury Network for a long time (well over a decade, in some cases) the Completed folder contains a large number of orders. Until now, this folder has been sorted to show oldest orders first, which meant managing orders could involve a lot of scrolling or using the Find tool. Now, based on your feedback, orders which have been recently completed will be shown first so you're more likely to see a relevant order at the top of the list.
