In this update: New product available, streamlined workflows, and issues resolved

This update offers a new valuation product intended to streamline your workflow by automating fees for certain 1004D orders. There’s also an improvement to the CMS integration, UI tweaks for more intuitive interactions, and resolutions to issues that your feedback helped us identify. You can see complete details in the release notes and read on for the highlights.

New 1004D product

This newly available product is called Appraisal Update/Inspection of Repairs & Recertification Report (FNMA 1004D). It has been added so lenders and AMCs can easily place orders when they need the appraiser to complete the upper and lower portions of the form. By adding this as a separate product, the fees for the order can be automated to accommodate the extra work done by the appraiser.

Lenders and AMCs can enable this product in Product Requirements - click here for a walkthrough.

Better visibility for appraiser-facing comments in Mercury Mobile

Your feedback helped us identify an issue that prevented appraisers from seeing some order comments in their Mercury Mobile app. Frequently, these were comments from originators and loan officers via their LOS or other integrated systems, so it was a priority to make sure appraisers could see them in order to keep their mobile workflow reliable and efficient. As always, we appreciate your input!

Improved functionality for CMS-integrated orders

Recently, CMS added the ability for AMCs to place orders on hold. So, to extend this new status to orders received by AMCs in Mercury Network via the CMS integration, we added a new capability. In Business Management, AMCs can now set an order’s status as On Hold. This should help save the time that would otherwise be required to log into CMS to set this status.

Interface change helps you gain context about assignment ratings

If you’re using assignment ratings to help prioritize vendor assignments (which is part of the overall vendor ratings system) this change will make that feature easier to use.

When viewing the Notes tab in an appraiser's profile, Mercury Network users can open an order related to a previously entered assignment rating in order to gain more context about the rating. To make this option clearer, the link to the order will now display View order instead of the internal numbers associated with the order.
